About Dahna

I am a Freelance Creative Producer and Fundraising Consultant. As a Fundraiser, I have raised over £500k in 2024 for arts charities, festivals, music, dance, visual arts and theatre companies. As a Producer I have worked for a number of renowned theatres in London, including The Coronet Theatre, as well as managing international touring for companies. I am an Associate Producer for Mechanimal, Bristol-based immersive experience and performance art company and trustee at Purple Moon Drama, London-based youth arts organisation offering opportunities to young underrepresented communities.

Why Raise the Arts?

Being raised in a theatre company in Croatia, I have always been surrounded by artists and creatives pushing the boundaries with their art. Passion and devotion is what makes the art a profound experience both for the artist but also for those who experience it on the other side. Then there comes a block, in most cases financial, which affects inspiration.

The doors that need to be opened may appear to be shut very tightly. What if I tell you that there are plenty of doors that are open but just need to be knocked at?

It is hard, it is challenging to find funding, but if you have a good project which you are passionate about, there are options and the success lies in trying and pursuing what you want.

My passion is to match inspirational, meaningful and significant arts projects with the funders, help you shape the project so that it aligns with the funder's goals and elevate your writing about the project on a level that is clear, straightforward and the most important thing, answering the questions being asked.

  • Dahna's support for applying for ACE Project Grants has been instrumental to making a submission. Both my access needs, as well as my project parner, meant that filling out the lengthy application was a hindrance and barrier to us being able to carry out the project in the first place.
